This policy applies to the processing of personal data of TrustHire candidates, clients, their representatives and visitors to trusthire.eu.

Purposes of using personal data

The company processes personal data for the following purposes:

I. Searching for potential candidates (also referred to as data subjects) and making initial contact about a job opportunity;

II. Assessing an interested candidate (CV review, interview and selection);

III. Tracking the status of a selected candidate;

IV. Entering into and performing contracts;

V. Creating and maintaining a database of active candidates;

VI. Communicating about job offers or candidate selection;

VII. Analysing website use (cookies).

Legal basis for processing

The company relies on the following legal bases for processing personal data:

I. Legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — searching for candidates on LinkedIn and finding out whether they are interested in new job opportunities;

II. Consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) — a consent form is sent to a candidate who expresses interest;

III. Legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — providing quality customer service;

IV. Legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — promptly proposing the best candidates;

V. Legal obligations (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)) — provisions of the Civil Code;

III. Data about company representatives;

IV. Candidate employment status and probationary period;

V. Candidate CV and contact details;

VI. Candidate or client contact details;

Data retention periods

The following retention periods apply to personal data:

I. Retained for as long as the candidate’s consent remains valid;

II. Retained while the candidate is employed by a TrustHire client;

III. Retained until the candidate objects;

IV. Ten years after the end of the contract;

V. Candidate data — while consent remains valid; other persons’ data — while the relationship continues;

VI. Cookie data — for the lifespan of the particular cookie.

Sharing data

Candidate data may be viewed by:

I. potential employers (in relation to candidates),

II. potential employees (in relation to employers),

III. website hosting providers, marketing service providers and the project development team.

Transfers outside the EEA

Data is not transferred outside the EEA. If such a transfer becomes necessary, the safeguards required by Chapter V of the GDPR will be applied.

Automated decision-making

Automated decisions are not used; however, candidates are profiled on the basis of work experience, without adverse consequences for the candidate.

Rights of data subjects

The data subject has the right to:

VII. withdraw consent;
